Our Story: About CrossFit R560

CrossFit R560 is a fitness, strength and conditioning gym located in Tralee, County Kerry. Our programs are designed to help individuals of every level of fitness achieve their goals. By definition, CrossFit is constantly varied, high intensity, and functional movement. CrossFit R560 offers daily scheduled group classes for all fitness levels. Say goodbye to the monotonous routines.

Every day is a different workout to keep you and your body constantly improving and prepared for anything life has to offer. Movements are performed at a high intensity so you will sweat. We keep it fun and help you achieve you own goals! You will be part of one of Ireland’s fastest growing fitness communities.

Tom has completed half marathons, full Marathons, obstacle races including the European Championships in Holland – Tom was the only member of the Irish Team who completed EVERY obstacle and retained the coveted band! As well as DAR, ROK, KAR, Galeforce, Turfguy, OLY lifting Comps, Powerlifting Comps & several CrossFit Competitions to name a few!

Completed half marathons, obstacle races including the European Championships in Holland, DAR, ROK, KAR, Galeforce, Turfguy, OLY lifting Comps, Powerlifting Comps & several CrossFit Competitions.

Joanne is the organiser of epic CrossFit days out! She has organised mountain days up Carrauntoohill, paddle boarding in Dingle Bay, surf days, cycling over Conor pass(!), coasteering and obstacle races.

Linda has been CrossFitting for around 3 years and is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer. Aside from coaching, Linda has partaken in several half marathon, 10km & obstacle races. Linda has a great passion for coaching and loves working with a range of individuals. Linda truly believes that training, health and fitness can have a hugely positive impact on people’s lives and is always looking to share her motivation and enthusiasm.

Achievements & Quirks!

Tommy is a qualified personal trainer and nutritionist, but coaching and competing in CrossFit is where his true passion lies. His athletic background is varied, from GAA and rugby to triathlons and adventure races. He has competed in numerous CrossFit competitions taking 3 First place national titles.

He is a qualified CrossFit Level 1 Coach, CrossFit Gymnastics Specialist, and CrossFit Judge. He has been focussed on teaching beginners and loves seeing people develop in both strength and confidence.
